Mining Internship Opportunities
Gain experience in various mining operations in our mining sites in Hessen, Niedersachsen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Sachsen-Anhalt, and Thüringen through a mining internship or apprenticeship. Starting from January 2027 or at the earliest possible date, you will undertake tasks such as:
- Familiarizing with underground mining processes including machinery, facilities, and mining infrastructure
- Supporting and participating on-site and underground
- Introduction to safety facilities, and learning and adhering to all prescribed occupational safety measures
- Deepening and applying basic knowledge regarding geology and other disciplines that are prerequisites and control elements of mining
You should bring:
- Enrolled student in mining, resource engineering, or surveying
- Mandatory suitability for underground work (entry examination will be conducted on-site)
- Driver’s license (class
B) and a personal car are required - Very good German language skills in both spoken and written form (at least B2 level)
Please specify in your cover letter which of our locations you would like to work at and the exact time frame you can start. (For your information: the standard duration is 4-6 weeks; earliest start possible from January 2027)
Please note that our production sites are generally accessible only by personal vehicle.
