Location: Montgomery, AL at Maxwell, AFB
Duration: 11-month contract with extensions or conversion
Pay Rate: $42.07
Working Hours: Onsite M-F 1st shift 6:30-3:30 and 2nd shift M-T 2:30-1:00 am

Must Haves:
- 3 years of military aircraft avionics/mechanical maintenance experience
- Experience working on helicopters/jets electrical wiring, navigation systems, and communication systems
Plusses:
- Military background
- Airframe and Power plant (A&P) license
Day to Day:
Insight Global is hiring Helicopter Modification Specialist to support our client in Montgomery, AL. The individual will be focused on avionics and responsible for assembling, disassembling, and modifying aerospace systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading components to address failures or implement design changes. They will oversee the assembly, disassembly, or overhaul of systems, configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment, and troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and repair faults.
Additional responsibilities include performing validation and verification testing of systems and components, documenting procedures and processes to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards, inspecting components, and verifying repairs to meet flight worthiness requirements.
