The Stagehand position is responsible for assisting the Production Manager with the technical aspects of the theatre operations including but not limited to theatre maintenance, load‑ins, load‑outs, rehearsals, performances and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Responsibilities- Assist the Production Manager with theatre maintenance, load‑ins, load‑outs, rehearsals, performances and other duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional climbing to assist with theatre maintenance including changing light bulbs.
- Varies depending on Davis Theatre needs.
- Ability to work extensive hours including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to be dependable.
- Experience and/or training in technical theatre.
- Resume.
- Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
