Northwest Partners is partnering with an established, technology-driven manufacturing organization to identify an experienced Vice President of Finance. This executive leadership role is responsible for shaping the company's financial strategy, driving operational performance, and ensuring sound financial governance across the business.
Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, the Vice President of Finance will oversee all aspects of financial planning, reporting, forecasting, compliance, and capital strategy while partnering closely with business leaders to support continued growth and operational excellence. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Alabama offering a competitive salary, annual bonus, and comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the organization's long-term financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insight that supports strategic planning and business decision-making.
- Lead all financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance measurement.
- Ensure strong financial controls, governance, compliance, and risk management processes are maintained across the organization.
- Evaluate capital investments, business opportunities, and resource allocation to maximize long-term value.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team while fostering collaboration across departments.
- Support complex customer programs within a regulated operating environment by providing strategic financial leadership.
- Oversee relationships with external auditors, banking partners, and other financial stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial processes, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.
- Proven executive-level finance leadership experience within a manufacturing, technology, aerospace, defense, industrial, or other highly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership to influence business strategy and financial performance.
- Deep expertise in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing high-performing teams and cross-functional partnerships.
- Experience supporting organizations operating within complex regulatory or government contract environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with international business operations and global accounting practices is an advantage.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required.
- MBA, CPA, or other relevant professional qualification preferred.
