Overview
This is a technical position requiring education in the field of radiology technology. The individual is responsible for performing radiographic examinations, assisting radiologists and other physicians during fluoroscopic studies, in addition to performing exams in the operating room and the emergency room.
Responsibilities- Perform radiographic examinations.
- Assist radiologists and other physicians during fluoroscopic studies.
- Perform exams in the operating room and the emergency room.
Education:
Graduate of School of Radiological Technology
Experience:
Graduate from an approved two-year radiology program
- American Registry of Radiology
Technology and BLS required.
Equipment/Tools/Work Aids- Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment
- Computers
- Image processing equipment
Proficiency in radiological technology.
Physical RequirementsJob requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and pushing in excess of twenty-five pounds.
