Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT(CT) certification and strong trauma and angiogram experience for a full-time day shift assignment.

• Work in a hospital-based radiology department at a Level II Trauma Center
• Serve adult and occasional pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Average of 4 patients per hour, with 1:1 patient ratios
• Primary procedures include trauma, angiogram, and stroke perfusion studies
• Use GE CT equipment and Cerner EMR—prior experience preferred
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Float throughout the main radiology department as needed
• Weekend rotation is typically once a month, subject to departmental needs
• Holiday coverage required per hospital policy, typically one major and one minor holiday
• Main responsibilities include performing CT studies for trauma, angiogram, and stroke cases
• Orientation includes one 8-hour hospital session and 2–3 dayshift shifts with a preceptor
• Voluntary call available
• Scrub uniforms in any color permitted
• Free parking provided
• A 60-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
• Candidates who were permanent staff must wait 6 months before returning as travelers

• Active ARRT and ARRT(CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• State license preferred; license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience with required skills
• First-time travelers considered with at least 2 years' experience
• Strong trauma and angiogram skills required
• Stroke perfusion experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR and GE CT equipment preferred
