Location: Montgomery, AL (36015)

Schedule: 24/7 Worksite Coverage

• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Monday–Sunday
  Full-Time | Open Availability Required
  Position will begin on night shift but may transition to days.

The Occupational Health Paramedic provides on-site medical support focused on injury prevention, early intervention, and workforce health. This role delivers triage, treatment, regulatory testing, and wellness support while partnering closely with site safety leadership on a 24/7 construction project.

This position offers the opportunity to apply clinical skills in a proactive environment outside of traditional EMS or hospital systems.

• Triage and treat occupational and minor non-occupational injuries
• Provide follow-up care per evidence-based protocols
• Support workers’ compensation and risk management processes

• Document all care in EMR (Cority)
• Maintain a clean, stocked clinic
• Communicate with leadership and local providers

• Collaborate daily with site safety teams
• Lead stretch-and-flex sessions
• Conduct site walks to identify health risks
• Promote wellness and injury prevention initiatives

• Conduct new hire drug screens and orientation testing
• Perform occupational health and substance testing
• Participate in weekly team meetings and case reviews

• Build professional relationships with employees and site leadership
• Promote a positive, safety-focused work culture

• Current State Paramedic License
• Current ACLS certification
• OSHA-30 certification required
• Valid driver’s license in good standing

• Minimum 2 years of Paramedic experience
• Emergency, occupational, or industrial experience preferred

• Strong independent clinical decision-making
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities
• Ability to work autonomously in an active construction environment
