Description
Answers all incoming calls and determines proper routing. Opens and routes correspondence to appropriate collection unit. Resolves patient complaints (e.g. complaints of not receiving statements, etc.).
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in healthcare business office environment (patient accounting area) preferred. This position involves interaction with Personal computers, copiers, phone systems, and fax machines. Must have a pleasant telephone voice, proficient verbal skills, and proven ability to work independently. Ability to calculate fractions, decimals, and percentages. Manual dexterity and visual acuity are necessary to utilize the PC and calculator.
Visual acuity is also necessary for filing and proofing documents. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
