Responsibilities:- Provide direct care and daily living assistance to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Support clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
- Assist clients with community integration, social activities, and recreational outings
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions per established protocols
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare professionals
- Respond appropriately to behavioral challenges using approved techniques and de-escalation strategies
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
