We are looking for a seasoned SQL Developer with 10 years of experience to support the Alabama Medicaid Agency in developing and maintaining the Eligibility & Enrollment (CARES) application. The role involves advanced database development, ETL processes, and systems analysis across integrated systems impacting multiple applications. Visa requirement:
We are considering candidates who are authorized to work in the United States under the following visa categories only: H4-EAD, GC Holder, GC-EAD, or U.S. Citizen (USC).

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server–based applications
• Create and optimize T-SQL stored procedures, triggers, and queries
• Develop and maintain SSIS ETL packages and SSRS reports
• Perform unit testing and troubleshoot database and ETL issues
• Document all developed code and technical solutions
• Provide regular status updates to Project and Development Managers
• Analyze data, tasks, and workflows to support business requirements
• Participate in the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Assist with technical interviews when required

• Experience:
  
  10 years overall in software/database development
• Database
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (latest versions), advanced T-SQL development, stored procedures, triggers, and complex queries
• ETL & Reporting:
  Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, and ETL development
• Tools & Source Control:
  Familiarity with Visual Studio, TFS/Azure Dev Ops
• Methodology:
  Practical experience with Agile/Scrum

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
