Job Purpose
The Network Engineer I/II is responsible for designing and implementing functional network infrastructure and security, providing first and second level technical support to all internal clients/employees. The position monitors, troubleshoots, and diagnoses network performance, confidentiality, integrity and availability.
Job Level RequirementsLevel 1 – Requires extensive knowledge of Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA (cluster design, installation, administration & support), Infoblox, Hash Corp PKI, and design and deployment of LAN, WLAN and WAN. Responsibilities include configuring and installing network devices, supporting and troubleshooting networks, monitoring performance, automating tasks, mentoring team members, creating and testing security measures, maintaining documentation, and suggesting improvements.
Level 2 – Focuses on LAN, WAP troubleshooting, VSAN, ISE, VRF, and OSPFv

- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
- Configure and install network devices, servers, and software
- Support and troubleshoot network performance and integrity
- Resolve escalated issues in cloud and local infrastructure
- Automate tasks and monitor effectiveness
- Mentor team members on technical issues
- Create and test security measures (access authentication, disaster recovery)
- Communicate with users as needed
- Maintain complete technical documentation
- Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
- Document different network environments
- Perform Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA cluster design, installation, administration & support (Level
1)
- IT related degree qualification
- >5 years IT related work experience
- Strong networking background with focus on Cisco routers and switches hardware
- Extensive knowledge of Core Routing and Switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, ISIS
- WAN connectivity
- Spanning‑tree, Port Channels, Load balancing
- Multicast PIM (Sparse/Dense), MSDP, NAT, QoS understanding and configuration
