Quality Assurance Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team in Montgomery, AL. In this role, you will collaborate with IT leads, developers, and end users to design, plan, execute, and validate test cases to ensure system functionality before implementation.

You will work across manual and automation testing
, participate in design/requirement reviews, and implement Functional, Integration, Regression, and Performance tests
. The role requires strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and experience with Agile processes.

• Design, develop, and execute test scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Conduct Functional, Integration, Regression, and Performance testing
  .
• Perform SIT, End-to-End, and UAT testing.
• Review requirements, specifications, and user documentation to ensure test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using TFS/Azure Dev Ops
  .
• Provide test results, defect reports, and sprint test summaries.
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve defects.
• Deliver testing artifacts and reports as directed by Project Managers.
• Strong experience in manual + automation testing (functional, regression, performance).
• Hands-on SIT, End-to-End, and UAT testing.
• In-depth knowledge of testing web-based applications
  .
• Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops / TFS
  .
• Ability to break down requirements into Agile sprints.
• 4+ years in software application testing.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Preferred:
  Testing certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) and healthcare/Medicaid/DHR domain experience.

Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $52.00/hr
