Database Administrator​/Programmer - Senior

Everforth ECS is seeking a highly qualified Database Administrator/Programmer - Senior with an active Secret Clearance to work full time on our project at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance.

Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, evaluates and installs database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management. Defines and oversees database organizations, standards, controls procedures, and documentation. Provides technical consulting in the definition, design, and creation of a database environment. Advises applications development staff and users on data-based solutions to business problems, data architectures, data base management system facilities and capabilities, and the operation and tuning of databases.

Ensures economic and efficient availability of data within adequate safeguards. Considered an emerging authority, who applies extensive technical expertise. Develops technical solutions to complex problems. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science

Active Secret Clearance

Minimum 8 years' experience
