UI​/UX Designer

Overview

INCATech is seeking a User Interface & User Experience (UI/UX) Designer to support a Department of Justice customer in Huntsville, Alabama. The selected candidate will help shape the user experience for a modern enterprise application by translating user needs, workflow analysis, and project requirements into practical, accessible, and visually effective front-end designs.

• Identify users’ underlying functional and emotional needs and help translate those needs into effective user experiences.
• Create satisfying and compelling user experiences based on user research and workflow analysis.
• Apply creative, technical, and problem-solving skills to design modern user interfaces.
• Create detailed front-end design wireframes, mockups, templates, and related design elements required for software development.
• Work with solution architects and system architects to understand requirements and develop suitable front-end designs that are aesthetically pleasing and user friendly.
• Create user-centric designs consistent with current design trends.
• Support implementation of front-end designs for web pages, websites, and portals in collaboration with the broader development team.

• Minimum four (4) years of relevant UI/UX design experience.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
