Job Overview
The Manager, Information Technology at Alliant Energy leads a team in delivering product and service solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and guiding technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all leadership duties such as hiring, coaching, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Manage the lifecycle of products or services, including maintenance, patching, and release of new versions.
- Participate in technology planning to align priorities across IT services.
- Set and monitor outcomes, objectives, and key results (OKRs) to deliver cost-effective, customer-driven solutions.
- Develop solutions, define scope, prioritize, and deliver systems and functions in partnership with business leaders.
- Coordinate plans and solutions with the sourcing department and manage vendor relationships and agreements.
- Provide leadership and direction for communication, implementation of new practices, and continuous improvement of organizational performance.
- Support and foster a culture of belonging and equal employment opportunity throughout the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in IT, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience managing and executing solutions for complex business problems.
- Master's degree.

Pay range: $106,000-$145,000. Eligible for the annual incentive program. Total rewards include competitive compensation, health and retirement benefits, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.
