Responsible for delivering any new product or service from a clearing perspective – from inception to production implementation, the Clearing and Post-Trade Product Management Team within CME Clearing and specializes across 3 areas:
Products, Services and Systems. Each area has a specialized team of product managers that report to a Director or Senior Director role and all of these roles report to the Head of Clearing Product Management. The team composition is distributed globally across Chicago, New York, Belfast, London and Bangalore. A summary of the team’s responsibilities include design, implementation and adoption of new solutions.
- Primary responsibility of the consultant role is the external communication and implementation of the conversion from Mexico's Interbank Equilibrium Interest Rate (TIIE) to Overnight TIIE Funding Rate (F-TIIE) for cleared MXN Interest Rate Swap products.
- Engage closely with end clients / traders, clearing firms, middle ware providers, and back office solution providers to educate and receive feedback on conversion processes.
- Prepare materials and lead discussions on conversion process design, in 1-1 or group settings.
- Assist in designing operational processes and internal system enhancements to ensure a smooth transition to the F-TIIE benchmark index.
- Client service in relation to TIIE conversion and other OTC clearing benchmark index conversions.
- Assist in product management of OTC Clearing business line including the design, implementation, and user acceptance testing for OTC Clearing initiatives.
- Requires strong knowledge of interest rate swap products, benchmark index reform, and the ability to communicate with executives at large financial services companies.
- Requires strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency with product management principles and agile SDLC environment.
- Minimum of 4 years experience working if client facing role in financial services company.
- Spanish speaker preferred.
