Data Analyst – Oak View Group

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in venue development, management, and premium hospitality services for the live event industry. As a Data Analyst, you will leverage OVG’s data assets to help business leaders solve complex problems and support venues across the Southwest, including the Footprint Center and Arizona State University.

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year (full-time).

• Collect and analyze relevant reports and insights on current and potential markets, performance, and industry trends in the Food & Hospitality sector.
• Develop in-depth industry knowledge, share insights, benchmarks, and best practices with senior leaders.
• Combine data from disparate sources to complete analyses and build processes to automate future longitudinal studies.
• Participate in strategic initiatives such as business development and new lines of business.
• Investigate customer and vendor issues to ensure profitable product management.
• Communicate analysis to senior leaders and clients using plain language, with minimal oversight.
• Manage competing priorities, both planned and ad‑hoc.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert in one or more data domains.
• Represent OVG at industry events and conventions to promote the brand.
• Generate actionable insights from large data sets that add value to the business.

• In‑depth understanding of complex SQL and statistical methods.
• Experience with multiple business intelligence tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Ability to devise creative, simple solutions for complex problems.
• 3‑5 years of experience in data analysis, BI, or statistics.
• BS degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
• Proficient knowledge of the Food Services & Hospitality business or a similar line of business.
