Reports Developer

Montgomery, Alabama (Must be onsite, day
1)

Rate: $55 per hour

Candidates must be willing to be onsite in Montgomery, AL 5 days a week. The client is open for candidates who need to relocate but must be onsite day 1.

• Develop SSRS reports
• Perform Power BI reporting
• Assist with Power Apps applications
• Conduct end‑to‑end report development – gather requirements, design, develop, and deploy reports
• Support end users by creating reports, forms, queries, and other MS‑SQL objects
• Analyze and compile data from databases and other sources for various reports

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a SQL Report Server Developer using SSRS
• Excellent understanding of T‑SQL programming
• Expert knowledge in designing and deploying SSRS reports in Visual Studio
• Ability to design, develop, test, and implement reports to fulfill business requirements
• Build appropriate reporting deliverables within due dates and project requirements
• Translate business requirements/user stories into report requirements
• Construct reusable reports based on common requests
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting
• Effective communication, both verbal and written, with all levels of staff and vendors
• Serve as subject matter expert across the organization; assist users with reporting and analysis activities and ad‑hoc reporting
• Support user testing, documentation, and roll‑out of reports and end‑user reporting tools
• Advanced understanding of relational databases (MS SQL, SSRS) and advanced querying techniques
• Develop MS‑SQL objects (tables, stored procedures, functions, views, etc.)
