Responsibilities- Source and buy uniform accoutrements for the AFJROTC programme
- Place and track orders
- Verify receipts against packing slips
- Resolve shortages and substitutions with vendors
- Keep the purchasing record clean enough to survive an audit
- US person, background check, base access at Maxwell AFB
- Two or more years in purchasing, procurement or buying
- Experience running competitive quotes and documenting the selection
- Vendor management and order expediting
- Detail accuracy on part numbers, sizes and quantities; this contract is uniform items where a wrong size is a wrong order
- Comfortable in Excel and in a purchasing or ERP system
- US person, background check, base access at Maxwell AFB
- Prior federal or DoD purchasing
- Apparel, uniform or insignia category experience
- Familiarity with AFJROTC or a cadet programme
