Job Description

• Reviews service requests and assigns to the appropriate employee for completion.
• Completes daily service requests.
• Reviews the returned service request completion report to ensure all assigned service requests have been completed satisfactorily and timely.
• Establishes and maintains an inventory of parts, materials and supplies, determining which items will be stocked and the appropriate amounts and which items will be purchased on an as‑needed basis.
• Records work performed on resident service requests accurately and in detail.
• Certifies the work performed by contractors is property completed prior to payment being issued.
• Performs maintenance and repairs in areas of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting and other building repairs.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe working environment.

Education And Experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective communication with residents, prospects, employees, peers, vendors, owners, etc.
• Computer software experience, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and One Site.
• Basic understanding of Federal, State and local Fair Housing laws.

License(s) or Certification(s) Preferred

• HVAC
• CPO

Previous Property Management Experience (preferred)

Required Education

• High school or equivalent

Physical

• Constant sitting, walking, climbing and reaching.
• Regular lifting and carrying of up to 80 pounds and, with assistance, up to 200 pounds.
