Pay Rate: 23.50/hour
Role:
The Operations Manager oversees 24/7 security operations, ensuring quality service, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction while leading and supporting security personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of security management or related experience
- 3+ years of verified security, law enforcement, corrections, or military experience
- Security management certifications (CPP, PSP) preferred
- Ability to obtain/maintain a valid State Security License
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations
- Ensure consistent, timely security service delivery
- Administer guard management software
- Enforce workplace safety policies
- Work posts as needed and remain on-call for officer support
Performance & Leadership
- Identify and resolve performance issues
- Implement and communicate operational standards
- Support change management and continuous improvement
- Provide leadership, accountability, and guidance
Client & Team Communication
- Serve as liaison between clients, Site Managers, Supervisors, and leadership
- Maintain strong communication across operations
- Prepare reports on performance, incidents, and client satisfaction
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections
Supervisory & Administrative Duties
- Verify and track all employee licensing and certifications
- Report new hires and terminations to the State of AL
- Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure 24/7 coverage
- Coordinate incident and emergency response
- Oversee billing and invoice accuracy
Required Skills & Abilities
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and administrative systems
- Flexible schedule to support 24-hour operations
- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative
Physical Requirements
- Stand or sit for at least one hour
- Walk ½ mile and climb 20 stairs without stopping
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Security Management, or related field (preferred)
