General Repair Technician – Aviation Maintenance; Onsite | Secret Clearance Required

Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Repair Technician to support aviation maintenance operations at a secure onsite location in Maxwell AFB, AL
. This is a full-time, 10-month contract role with the potential to extend through the end of the year.

• Schedule:
  
  Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Shifts:
  
  Variable (1st & 2nd shift availability required)
• Pay Range: $32.76–$41.19/hr.

• Maintain, repair, replace, and upgrade aviation and ground support equipment
• Troubleshoot and isolate faulty components
• Perform inspections and complex functional testing using appropriate test equipment
• Document maintenance actions per maintenance requirements
• Support flight line operations as needed
• Assist with weapons repair, inspections, and flight schedule readiness
• Train and support less experienced technicians

• Minimum 4 years of aviation maintenance experience
• Military background required
• Ability to work effectively in small team environments
• Active Secret Clearance required to start
• U.S. Person (Export Compliance requirement)
• High School Diploma

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
• Climb and work around hazardous materials (oils, lubricants, solvents)
