Job Description:

The Punch Press Operator will serve our Water Heater Division, located in Montgomery, AL.

• Work efficiently to complete tasks from written and/or verbal instructions.
• Inspect units or parts for defects and workmanship.
• Maintain quality standards according to specifications.
• Adhere to all safety and work rules, company policies and procedures, while maintaining a clean work area.
• Practice and support Rheem values with internal as well as external customers.
• Perform other related duties as required by supervisor.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to hold or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently walks and hears repetitive lifting, bending, twisting, turning, reaching, pushing, pulling. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 5–25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25–60 pounds. Vision skills acceptable for a lift truck license and motor skills/climbing to safety board/operate the equipment are required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to high noise levels, heat, dust and airborne particles.
