Position: Assembler I

Duties

  • Follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to assemble components or products.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform assembly tasks.
  • Inspect and verify the quality of assembled products to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Identify and report any defects or issues with components or finished products.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
  • May perform other limited assembly, fabrication, production, or operator tasks of a standard nature.
Qualifications
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to learn how to operate basic machinery (e.g., Waterjet).
  • Ability to paint and work with insulation.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or assembly instructions.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly non-exempt role. Starting pay range: $18.00/hour. Eligible to earn overtime when working more than 40 hours per week (or as required by state law).

Benefits subject to eligibility: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

New employees may receive up to: 10 days paid time off, 10 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
