Job
Duties include:
- Install, repair, and maintain conveyor belt systems
- Join or repair damaged belt ends using heat, cold joining, or mechanical splicing
- Diagnose issues like belt slippage, misalignment, or mechanical failures
- Swap out broken pulleys, bearings, and motors to keep operations running smoothly
- Perform belt mapping, audits, and routine inspections to avoid unexpected equipment breakdowns
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, Technical/Trade school or equivalent experience
- At least 2+ years of manufacturing work experience in operating machinery and using various hand tools
- Ability to read and comprehend shop work orders
- Ability to read and interpret measuring devices
- Able to complete basic mathematical functions
- Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Starting pay $16.74 per hour
