Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience- 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
- Must have at least 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
- Travel experience is required from any number of months.
- Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license (required after submission).
- This role will require floating to multiple units
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
- Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
- 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program:

Additional DetailsRequired Skills /
Experience:
Experience with managing patients on bipap/cpap, cardiac rhythm interpretation, CVP monitoring, monitoring hemodynamic lines, post-surgical drains, trachs, chest tubes.
Titratable drips including (but not limited to):
Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Esmolol, Insulin, Cardene, Nitro, Levophed, and Epinephrine.
RNs required to read/measure tele strips.
Unit / Facility DetailsParking:
Free parking on campus and parking deck.
Will accept first time travelers if with 2 years of ICU experience.
Shift & SchedulingWeekend rotation:
Every other weekend, may work back-to-back weekends (rare).
No Call.
Holiday Expectations:
One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy.
Schedule Cycle: 6 weeks.
Floating RequirementAny like unit/patient location (MS-MS, MS-ICU task, MS-ER/MS holds; ICU-ICU, ICU-MS task or limit of 3, ICU-ER/ICU holds).
10 days maximum time off.
