TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a medical‑surgical (Med Surg) RN for a travel nursing assignment in Montgomery, Alabama.

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions or needs.
• Perform ongoing assessments and administer appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients' families.
• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist the physician during examination and treatment.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed.

• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Easily lift 20 pounds; may need to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment treating patients that may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.

• BLS certification
• NIH certification
• 1–1.5 years of recent acute care experience
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
