Registered Nurse (RN), Labor and Delivery - Days

North Alabama Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery Department.

Our 24/7 team includes physicians, nurses, and support staff, all trained to deliver quality care with compassion.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Perform timely and accurate documentation related to medical necessity.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conduct timely and accurate QI assessments.

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within six months of hire.
• Preferred:
  One year of experience; ASLS certification.
