We’re currently searching for a committed PACU Registered Nurse to join our growing team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping patients safely recover from anesthesia and surgery, we’d love to connect with you.
What You’ll Do:- Monitor patients post-surgery during the recovery phase from anesthesia
- Assess vital signs, manage pain, and watch for signs of complications
- Provide attentive, calming support to patients and families
- Collaborate closely with OR teams, anesthesia providers, and physicians
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Educate patients on post-operative care instructions and follow‑up needs
- Maintain patient safety and infection control protocols at all times
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment abilities
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
- Proficient with EMR documentation and PACU protocols
- Current TX RN license (or compact license) required
- Must graduate from a Texas Board of Nursing–approved accredited nursing program
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred or willing to obtain)
- 1+ year of PACU, ICU, or critical care experience preferred
- Experience in an ambulatory surgery or outpatient setting is a plus
