CVOR Registered Nurse

• Full-time contract schedule; specific shifts discussed during interview

• Valid RN license with current registration
• Minimum of 2 years’ current experience in a CVOR setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in assisting with cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and anticipate surgical team needs

• Provide direct patient care and support during cardiovascular surgeries
• Ensure strict adherence to sterile technique and promote a safe operating environment
• Monitor and assess patient status throughout the perioperative process
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff to facilitate seamless procedures
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information and surgical activity
• Participate in pre-operative preparation and post-operative care of CVOR patients
