Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience as an Operating Room RN in a hospital or surgical center
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Thorough understanding of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and procedures
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage fast-paced environments while maintaining composure
• Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and organizational policies

• Provide comprehensive RN perioperative care including circulating and scrubbing duties
• Coordinate care delivery with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field, ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are available and functioning
• Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changes during surgical procedures
• Offer emotional support to patients and families, explaining upcoming procedures and addressing concerns
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and quality assurance standards

$2,193 - $2,312/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
