Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Montgomery, AL

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Prior experience in medical-surgical (Med-Surg) nursing
• Strong clinical assessment and IV skills
• Solid understanding of care coordination and patient education
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
• CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with varied medical and surgical conditions
• Complete comprehensive assessments and reassessments, monitor patient status, and implement physician orders
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families to create individualized care plans
• Document patient information using electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families on care needs, discharge instructions, and health management
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control guidelines and hospital policies

$1,912 - $2,081/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
