You will provide care for patients undergoing bone marrow transplants, monitor for complications, administer medications, and document in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Alabama RN license or eligibility, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and recent experience in bone marrow transplant or oncology nursing.
Work experience may not substitute for education requirements. Skills in critical thinking, patient assessment, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are valuable.
Experience with EMR systems and advanced certifications such as Bone Marrow Transplant Certification are recommended.
