Deliver high-quality mental health care as a skilled Psychiatric RN in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role requires compassionate, experienced professionals prepared to support patients with a variety of psychiatric needs.

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license required
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing
• Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and therapeutic communication
• Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and implementing individualized care plans
• Current BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Ability to document accurately and manage electronic health records
• Flexibility to adapt to fast-paced mental health settings

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and monitor mental and physical health status
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans
• Administer medications and evaluate patient responses
• Offer support and education to patients and families about mental health conditions and treatments
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
• Respond promptly to psychiatric emergencies and employ appropriate interventions
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all patients

$1,909 - $2,013/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
