, a Care Vet partner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving, well-established hospital in Montgomery, AL
, where you’ll be supported by a collaborative team and have the flexibility to shape your compensation in a way that works best for you. Our Medical Directors dedicate over 90% of their time to practicing medicine, allowing them to stay fully engaged in patient care while leading the team.

The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered.

In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Medical Director is responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital under the guidance of Care Vet leadership. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Medical Director are responsible for cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment.

For over 35 years, Carmichael Road Animal Clinic has proudly served the Montgomery community as a full-service animal hospital offering emergency, routine medical, surgical, and dental care. We are also home to Montgomery’s only exclusively feline facility, the Cat Clinic of Montgomery, featuring a separate entrance and waiting area designed to meet the unique needs and comfort of our cat patients.
