The individual will perform research studies utilizing standard and modified methods in-vitro such as microbial kill time and minimum inhibitory concentration. Clinical studies will require cup-scrub sampling to collect facial skin bacterial samples from human subjects, processing samples in Microbiology laboratory, evaluating microbial results, performing data calculations and entry with MS Excel. A strong understanding of bacterial metabolism, bacterial identification techniques and/or Biochemistry is a plus.

Experience with scientific writing, literature reviews, culture maintenance (including anaerobic organisms and equipment) and statistical calculations is desired. The majority of work is laboratory based with participation in technical team meetings. This role requires strong inter-personal and time-management skills. The individual will maintain GxP documentation and is expected to maintain the laboratory and equipment in a compliant manner.
