The QC Sr. Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality of electronic and multimedia parts by setting up and providing training on inspection standards and processes, responding quickly to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) quality issues, providing countermeasures, maintaining quality data, and monitoring part changes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)
- Analyze and evaluate OEM quality issues, and present countermeasures
- Devise defect prevention methods and follow up with permanent countermeasures
- Achieve and maintain high quality standards and stabilization through active, thorough part inspection
- Analyze historical trend for OEM and incoming quality status
- Create weekly/monthly quality reports for QC Manager, customer, and CEO
- Create implementation plan for new or changed part implementation process
- Process Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) approvals and customer testing requests
- Support periodic QA system for multimedia inspection
- Audit new inspectors on quality testing/checking processes
- Prompt, regular, predictable attendance
- Physical presence at work during all scheduled work hours
- Overtime and weekend work as required
- All other job duties as assigned
Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 or more years of experience in an analytical QC position in a manufacturing environment
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Analytical skills
- Problem-solving/Troubleshooting skills
- Organizational and Data Management skills
- Presentation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Experience with vehicle electronics systems (radio, navigation, amp, speaker, camera, smart key)
- Experience with data communications (CAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G/5G, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of electronics and/or mechanical systems
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field (Electrical preferred)

Working Hours:
8:00 a.m.
-5:00 p.m. - Overtime as needed
- 75% office, 25% production floor
- Traversing around production floor
- Occasional domestic and international travel
- Travel to OEM as needed
- Lifting 30-50 lbs.
