Airbus Americas, Inc. is looking for a Quality Conformance Manager I to join our team based in Mobile, AL.

In this role, you will administer the on-going development of the Quality Management System. You will:

• Investigate specific quality issues arising from system failures or design deficiencies to reduce the cost of non-quality and foster continuous improvement.
• Support quality on time and on cost delivery by delivering right first time to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction.

This position involves the resolution of complex quality issues and continuous improvement projects by setting measurement standards and improvements to increase performance, reliability, and repeatability of processes to meet regulatory, company, and customer requirements.

Our Engineers at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facility take our aircraft from concept to customer delivery, working with production teams on every aspect of assembly from managing technical information to quality control, maintenance tasks, and health & safety along flowlines and flight lines. On ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. • Analyze non-conformities, aircraft logbooks, audit findings, and operational surveillance to initiate appropriate corrective actions to avoid recurrence.
• Define and improve the quality processes within Airbus by identifying cost of non-quality drivers and improving processes to reduce defects.
• Generate key performance indicator reports to measure quality performance and communicate to the management team.
• Support inspection personnel when issues arise to determine root cause and corrective action.
• Develop dashboards and visual management tools necessary to identify deficiencies in the quality system.
• Create statistical data for non-conformities, key performance indicators, and other quality metrics to identify trends.
• Establish a digital platform for the collection, monitoring, and archiving of FOD, lost tool, and lost item reports.
