As a Coke Florida Field Sales Representative (FSR), you will be responsible for business development, service to customers, and maintaining customer relationships within your sales territory’s existing customer base. The FSR works against specific strategic customers, specifically Publix stores.
Roles and Responsibilities- Making sales and assisting orders from customers
- Performing primary duties in the field by visiting customer accounts outside the company facility or office
- Building and maintaining profitable customer relationships
- Executing and closing all sales calls
- Selling incremental displays and equipment placements; selling in promotional programs and ensuring dealer compliance
- Serving the account on every visit – including light merchandising, cold vaults, beverage sections, and cold drink equipment
- Reviewing business results with customers
- Ensuring company assets meet performance requirements and developing a plan of action for those assets that generate zero or low volume
- Ensuring outlets comply with Coke Florida standards
- Communicating account activities to appropriate parties
- Conducting some merchandising and rotation inspections
- Leading, scheduling, and at times executing resets to expand portfolio
- Resolving customer inquiries, including researching and closing customer service tickets
- Transporting, replacing, and maintaining point‑of‑sale advertising as appropriate for the account
- Maintaining regular and punctual attendance
- Working overtime as assigned
- Complying with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws
- Identifying and reporting any unsafe working conditions
- Complying with dress code or appearance/grooming standards
- Working shifts and schedules as assigned
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- Ability to use and understand mobile applications
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Valid driver’s license
- Current vehicle liability insurance as specified by the company
- Driving record with no major moving violations in the last three years
- Personal vehicle available for use during employee working hours
- Bachelor’s degree or 3–4 year college/university degree preferred
- At least 1 year of previous sales experience preferred
- Food or beverage industry experience preferred
- Ability to create and conduct sales presentations required
- Strong attention to detail and follow‑up skills
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching above the head, at the waist, below the knees, and bending at the knees
- Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand truck) containing product loads of a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
- Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination
- Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities
- Ability to read information in small, medium, and large print
- Ability to stand a minimum of 6 hours during the workday
- Ability to walk a minimum of 4 miles during the workday
- Frequently work in a hot or humid outdoor environment
