Ascent Hospitality is seeking an energetic, results-driven Area Sales Manager to support our hotel properties in Montgomery, AL
.

This onsite position is responsible for driving revenue, developing new business, strengthening client relationships, and growing group, corporate, and local market opportunities across our Montgomery-area hotels.

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive hotel revenue and occupancy.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local and surrounding markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, group accounts, meeting planners, travel partners, and community organizations.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits, networking, site tours, and community outreach.
• Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up on leads and opportunities.
• Promote hotel services, meeting spaces, group accommodations, and special offers.
• Collaborate with General Managers and hotel teams to achieve sales and revenue goals.
• Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, account information, and reporting.
• Represent Ascent Hospitality and its hotels professionally within the community.

• Previous hotel sales, hospitality, business development, or related sales experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and generate new business.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven with strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hotel leadership.
• Strong knowledge of the local Montgomery market is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales/CRM systems preferred.
• Ability to travel locally for sales calls, networking events, client meetings, and property visits as needed.
