Armed Shift Supervisor

Friday-Sunday 3pm-11pm

Monday-Tuesday 11pm-7am

$17/hour

Role:

An Armed Shift Supervisor safeguards people and property through patrols, access control, surveillance monitoring, and emergency response, while carrying a firearm, exercising sound judgment, completing reports, coordinating with law enforcement, and providing professional customer service in compliance with all licensing and legal requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have or be able to obtain a valid State Security License
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must complete armed training and maintain a valid pistol permit
• Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials.
• Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions.
• Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
• Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.
• Execute routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance.

• Assist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally.
• Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
• Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.

• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Strong situational awareness and curiosity.
• Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in critical situations.
• Basic computer skills; able to use a tablet for reporting.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum Physical Requirements (subject to change based on client-specific needs)

• Stand for at least 1 hour without support or break
• Sit for at least 1 hour without break
• Walk at least ½ mile without stopping

Education & Experience :

Minimum:

  HS Diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Experience:
  
  1+ years of verifiable security, military or law enforcement experience.

Alabama Security Regulatory Board License, preferred
Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
State Issued Driver's License (Not Expired)
