As a Loss Prevention Supervisor
, you will lead the daily operations of the Loss Prevention Department, ensuring the safety and security of the hotel’s guests, associates, and property. Your responsibilities include supervising patrols, conducting safety audits, training team members, and implementing emergency response plans. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to risk management, a commitment to guest service excellence, and the ability to foster a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surveillance & Security Leadership: Oversee the use of state-of-the-art security cameras and technology to ensure full property coverage, proactively identifying and mitigating potential threats.
  • Risk Assessments & Safety Audits: Conduct regular evaluations of facilities to identify fire hazards, safety violations, and vulnerabilities, ensuring swift resolution and a secure environment.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Organize and lead regular safety drills and simulations to ensure staff readiness for emergencies such as fires, severe weather, or medical incidents.
  • Incident Reporting System: Implement and manage a digital reporting platform to log incidents, monitor follow-up, and drive safety improvements.
  • Visible Security Presence: Ensure a consistent and professional security presence across the property to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access while offering assistance to guests and associates.
  • Guest Interaction: Promote friendly and professional interactions between security staff and guests, reinforcing a sense of hospitality and safety throughout the resort.
  • Access Control: Oversee the operation of advanced access control systems to protect restricted areas and sensitive information.
  • Incident Response Protocols: Develop and communicate detailed procedures for handling critical security situations, ensuring swift and coordinated responses.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to Loss Prevention Officers, fostering a culture of safety, integrity, and excellence.

    Collaboration:

    Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services to strengthen community ties and response capabilities.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of hospitality industry experience and/or completion of an accredited law enforcement academy.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within security or loss prevention is highly desirable.
