Job Skills / RequirementsFull Time
Sun‑Sat (4 on 3 off/ Every other Weekend off)
7am‑7pm

- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Armed security officer (must pass Armed training, have valid pistol permit).
- Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards
- 3+ Years of Military, Law Enforcement, or Armed Security Experience; or 4+ Years of Unarmed Security Experience
- Pass a background investigation
- Complete a psychological assessment
- Pass an annual physical fitness assessment
- Pass medical exam to test vision & hearing (ability to distinguish color is required).
- Perform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials.
- Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions.
- Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
- Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.
- Execute routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance.
- Assist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally.
- Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
- Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, high‑stress environments.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Strong situational awareness and curiosity.
- Ability to stay calm and problem‑solve in critical situations.
- Basic computer skills; able to use a tablet for reporting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation

- Stand for at least 1 hour without support or break
- Sit for at least 1 hour without break
- Walk at least half mile without stopping
Minimum:
- Education:
HS Diploma or equivalent
- Alabama Security Regulatory Board License, preferred
- Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
- State Issued Driver's License (Not Expired)
- Prior Military Preferred
- Prior Certified Law Enforcement Officer Preferred
