Unarmed Security Officer – Montgomery, AL – All Shifts

Compensation: $20.16/hr;
Available shifts: 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Weekend and holiday availability required.

Positions:

• Rover: Foot or vehicle patrols, detect suspicious behavior, prevent vandalism, thefts, or other criminal activity.
• Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access.
• Front Desk: Greet and acknowledge guests, customer service, access control, monitor CCTV, announce visitors, distribute packages.

Responsibilities:

• Deterrence of criminal activity, protection of property, and enforcement of rules on a property.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position or patrol areas and conduct security checks.
• Provide protection for equipment and workers in factories and offices, checking credentials of vehicles and individuals.

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state licensing is mandatory.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Computer skills are a plus.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Previous security experience not required but considered a plus.
