Instructors will provide professional military education instruction to officers in the US Air Force and other servicesinthe Profession of Armsin the 21 st Century.

Inalmost allcases,instruction will be delivered online.

Upon hiring, instructors willbe required to complete initial faculty development instruction and other requirements to beidentifiedby the Air Force Global College (AFGC). The AFGC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and provides competentcontractorand government faculty qualified toaccomplishthe organization’s goals and mission.

• Strong background in warfare studies and thetheory of warfare,especially in the areas ofAir, Space,and Cyberspace power.
• Completion of Intermediate Developmental Education (IDE) and/or Senior Developmental Education. Resident completion preferred, butnotrequired.
• JPME Phase I and/or Phase II

• Master’s or Terminal degree inareas such as Military History, Communications, Research, Leadership, International Security,ora related field.

• A ssignmentsshowcasing professional operational experience such as:
• Staff or leadership positions in a Joint or Combined Air Operations Center.
• Wing Weapons/Tactics.
• Flight Commander or higher in intelligence, fighter, bomber, space, cyber, air battle manager, or airborne command and control atthe Squadron level or higher in the US Air Force or a sister service.
• Deployment experience in such positionsisa strong plus.
• Prior online teaching experience (military or civilian) is a strong plus.
