What You'll Do
- Perform start-up, commissioning, and testing of newly installed equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project specifications.
- Complete retrofit, replacement, and renovation projects according to schedule.
- Perform preventive maintenance and recommend equipment upgrades when necessary.
- Maintain accurate service records, project documentation, and daily reports.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and fellow technicians.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience (project experience preferred).
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in refrigeration, electrical, and HVAC controls.
- Experience with building automation systems (BAS) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
