Position Summary

Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician ready to take on more complex challenges and keep high-performance equipment running at its best? We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician II to join our team, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining our facilities and troubleshooting a variety of tools, machines, and systems. In this role, you’ll put your advanced mechanical, electrical/PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic, and machining skills to work—ensuring our custom equipment operates at peak efficiency.

CORE FUNCTIONS
  • Utilize advanced knowledge as required in diagnosing and repairing our more complex machines. This may include electrical/PLC, mechanical, welding, machining, hydraulics/pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
  • Learn to operate and keep custom machines running at peak efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize equipment downtime through data-driven analysis.
  • Utilize the maintenance ticket system, create work orders, uploading documentation, and updating parts as needed.
  • Assist with inventory, cataloging parts inventory, and ordering replacement parts and shop supplies.
  • Rebuild machines, tools and heavy equipment & create special tools to assist with production (SH edit).
  • Work on machine programing as needed and help train and teach new Machine Operators how to operate machines as needed.
  • Trouble shoot machine issues.
  • Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule to reduce downtime potential on machines and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous forklift experience required; 2-3 years of experience preferred.
  • 3 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.
Required Licenses
  • Completion of related technical training program, certificate, degree, or journeyman apprenticeship preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • This position is subject to Heavy Work:
    Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
