Position Overview
Lennox (NYSE: LII) has driven 130 years of HVAC and refrigeration success, offering industry‑leading climate‑control solutions. As part of the Lennox AES division, a large manufacturer of roof curbs and drop‑box diffuser systems, we now seek a Structural Welder to support mechanical services and steel manufacturing. Our focus is to enhance services for our General Contractor network nationwide.
We offer the position of Structural Welder for 60–70 hour work weeks.
Key Responsibilities- Ability to travel throughout the U.S. on 3 to 4 week deployment cycles
- Knowledge of OSHA Regulations 29 C.F.R. 1926 Subpart J – Welding & Cutting
- AWS Certification D1.1 or ability to acquire
- Experience with Arc + Flux Core, MIG and TIG welding equipment & processes
- Ability to work overnight in existing buildings
- Ability to read, comprehend and perform work from blueprints/drawings
- Knowledge of fire prevention methods for occupied space welding
- Ability to acquire Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) Authorized Operation
- Learn safety policies and deploy proper safety equipment for welding duties
- Ability to become authorized and operate scissor lifts
- Work with Fire Watch closely to ensure work performance is met
- Ability to work overtime

- National Background Check
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Pass a pre‑employment drug screening
- Have a clean driving record and valid driver's license to operate company vehicle
- Work after hours
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout the U.S.
Hourly non‑exempt role with a starting pay range of $31 – $41 per hour. Overtime is available when working more than 40 hours in a week.
