Pay Rate: $28.00 - $33.00/hr. on W2 (Based on Experience & Qualifications)

Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 6:30 AM Start | Four 10-Hour Shifts (Overtime may be required)

Skills Required Primary (Must-Have)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0–3 years of experience as a Controls Technician, PLC Technician, or in a similar electrical maintenance role.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
  • Experience working with AC and DC electrical systems
    .
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work safely in industrial and manufacturing environments.
Secondary (Good to Have)
  • Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.

Position Overview

The P&C/PLC Technician is responsible for assisting with the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of electrical control and automation systems. This role supports the operation of PLC-controlled equipment, electrical control panels, and related systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The technician will work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of PLC-controlled equipment and electrical control systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical components and automation equipment.
  • Support equipment inspections to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Troubleshooting & Testing
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and electrical control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Perform testing of AC/DC electrical systems and identify equipment faults.
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving electrical and control system issues.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation.
  • Follow company safety policies, electrical codes, and quality standards.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with established procedures and best practices.
  • Work closely with engineers, electricians, and maintenance personnel to support plant operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Assist with special projects and additional maintenance activities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, PLC systems, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs.
  • Experience with AC and DC electrical systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with industrial automation and electrical control systems.
