Low Voltage Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables
• Build, install, and maintain MDFs and IDFs, including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware
• Perform cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, termination, and testing to ensure safety and compliance
• Deliver exceptional customer service, maintain professionalism and strong communication skills
• Ensure high-quality, organized, and professional workmanship on all installations

• Must be able to travel 100% to the project site in Montgomery, AL
• Must own low voltage tools (strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches)
• Ability to lift/carry/setup a 50-pound box or ladder
• Able to work 2nd/3rd shift, overtime, and under pressure
• Must pass a 7-year background check, drug screen, and physical
• Requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
• Commercial construction experience preferred
• Tech 2: all above requirements plus a minimum 2 year of commercial low voltage installation experience
• Tech 3: all above requirements plus a minimum of 3 years of commercial low voltage installation experience
